KWCX 1250AM went on air in Willcox, Arizona in 1959 broadcasting country music for Cochise County. In 1961 KWCX was moved to the FM band and KHIL became 1250AM. Today KHIL is an AM/FM simulcast broadcasting a Mark format, which means we play “all music all the time”. No DJs with a lot of talk and chatter to slow down the music.
